9/10. This is personally my favourite character theme in all of Sonic. And it was utterly wasted in Sonic 06. In fact most of 06's music was far too good for the game it was in. Zinnia's Theme - Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire

Aaagh, this level was creepy as hell. The music certainly fits the atmosphere of the level, being equal parts whimsical and scary as hell, and I love those little hits with the electric guitar. Still, I wish it had been a little more creepy. 8/10. Rusty Ruin Zone (Act 2) - Sonic 3D Blast...

Oh, Capcom. In terms of musical composition, you still got it. In fact, you may have just gotten even better. 10/10. How's about a Pokemon song? Vs. Champion Lance/Red Battle - Pokemon Heart Gold/Soul Silver This song just screams "FINAL BATTLE" at the top of its lungs. It's extremely epic...

It plays during the credits. And this song is absolutely perfect closure to the series. In-game, it pretty much WILL make you cry. 10/10. Native Faith (Suwako's Theme) - Touhou: Mountain of Faith The one big thing I love about Touhou is the music, and out of all the Touhou songs I've heard...

HUGE SUCCESS. 10/10. Crazy Robo (Theme of E101-Beta Mk. II) - Sonic Adventure Most underrated boss theme ever? In my mind it is. It's a powerful jazz/techno piece that nicely contrasts with Gamma's more melancholy theme. A fitting tune for one of the few bosses in the game that's actually...

9/10. Lead instrument could be better, but GAH THAT BASS IS AMAZING! <3 Also, great melody. Phendrana Drifts - Metroid Prime It's rare to find a song that perfectly embodies its level, but this one is probably one of the best in that department. It's cold, desolate, and absolutely beautiful.

8/10. To be honest, I prefer Brawl's opening, but I'd be lying if I said Melee's wasn't kickass, too. ...Okay, someone's gotta do it. Splash Hill (Act 1) - Sonic the Hedgehog 4 In my opinion, this song embodies the hopes people have for this game, blending the best of old- and new-school...

Hmm...sounds like typical Capcom music with an RPG flair. It's good, but not really striking or outstanding. 7/10. Solaris Battle (Part 2) - Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) Why why why WHY WHY WHY WHY WHY WAS SUCH AN AWESOME SOUNDTRACK WASTED ON THIS GAME?! This may be one of the single greatest...

S'alright. :3 COOKIES! Okay, I'll rate the song! :D It's nice and epic. Love the subtle flute bits hidden in there (or at least it sounds like a flute through my speakers. Could be something else. Anyway, I like it). 9/10. Now let's see...something to keep the thread going...How about...

No, it's no mere danmaku, because your hitbox is MASSIVE to the point where something wouldn't even have to touch you and you'd die (by the way, this includes walls, and they're insanely easy to run into) and your shots do next to nothing to enemies. It's not bullet hell, it's bad game design...

That VIOLIN! It's amazing. This song really does seem to have it all. Electronica and orchestral aspects are blended seamlessly and it manages to go from huge and epic to dark and sinister to soft and delicate within split seconds, and it all works. I know nothing about this game, but I really...

Ah, Capcom. Is it even possible for you to fail at music? I admit, this song didn't stand out too much at first, but once the chorus hit, it had me. The type of guitar sound they used didn't mix with the piano very well, but it's not too big a deal. And again, fucking amazing chorus. 8.5/10...

Whee Touhou. Never played it, but would like to. Quite nice, but I like "U.N. Owen was Her?!" better. The instruments in this one are kind of weird for the melody. 8/10. Here's an odd one: The Moon from Ducktales. Yep. Who knew something so awesome could come from a licensed game based on a...

Wow, that brings back memories. Used to play Marvel Vs. Capcom a lot. I think I still have it somewhere. Gotta find it now... Anyway, on the song. It's pretty kickass, and if I'm correct in guessing that it's a remix, it definitely shows that Capcom's always been really, really good at making...

Sorry for posting early, but I didn't want to get ninja'd, and I have to comment on this song. YES. YES YES YES. This song, after all that had happened in Mother 3, completely BLEW ME AWAY. Yay Mother 3! Anyway, this was one of those tracks in the game I kind of took for granted due to its simplicity. It really does sound like a generic inn song, but it does indeed have that sad edge to it, especially since it's a recurring song that plays during all the visits to Yado Inn (Which...

GARSH DANGIT YOU POST NINJAS Rating Midna's Lament...Wow, I remember just how much of a sucker I am for piano pieces, especially absolutely gorgeous ones like this. I...I really can't find a complaint for this one. It's beautiful, it's atmospheric, it's...it's...it's a 10/10. And...it's not...

Nice. Very atmospheric, and the way the notes run together give it a very scrapyard-like feel. The Complete Works version was awesome as well. I I had to find a complaint, it does kind of get a little jumbled at parts with so much going on, but not that big a deal. 9/10. God dammit, I have to...

Typical Akira Yamaoka, which is by no means a bad thing. The breathy vocals really make the song. 8.5/10. WHAT ANOTHER MEGA MAN TRACK? Yup, it's Hornet Dance from Mega Man 9. This is probably my favorite track in the game. Can't really explain why, really. I've just taken a shine to it.
